Yahoo!Tech - A Reference Home Theater Experience Is Coming to CEDIA 2026
CEDIA Expo 2026 is shaping up to be a highlight for home theater, and one of the biggest demos will bring together some of the biggest names in video processing, projection, audio, acoustics, and theater design.
The Paragons of Home Cinema: Episode II demo will combine technologies from Lumagen, Christie, Stewart Filmscreen, NextLevel Acoustics, StormAudio, SPEAKERPOWER, Simplified Acoustics, and CineMotion Posters to create a complete reference-level theater experience. The goal is to show how individual components can work together when they are engineered as part of a single system.
Lumagen Introduces ArtisaN 8K Ready Video Processor
Leading the video side of the demo will be Lumagen's new ArtisaN 8K Ready video and audio processor, which will make its debut at CEDIA Expo 2026.
Priced at $11,495 MSRP, ArtisaN is designed for home theater systems and includes eight inputs, two outputs, real-time video scaling, HDR dynamic tone mapping, precise lip-sync control, and a low-latency gaming mode with a fixed 3-millisecond video delay.
The Lumagen is manufactured in the United States. The company is also offering an upgrade path that will add 4K120 and 8K processing capabilities for an additional $2,500 MSRP.
Together, the companies behind Paragons of Home Cinema: Episode II are aiming to deliver a look at what a fully integrated home theater system can achieve when every part of the room is designed to work together. The demo will be on display at CEDIA Expo 2026 and we're looking forward to checking it out.
